I offer a reliable and professional proofreading and editing service. My experience ranges from the completion of over 70 manuscripts for a publisher of travel guides, to the proofreading of local publicity material and newsletters. I have also written and edited a wide range of business documentation when working in the Financial Services industry.
I am an Associate of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders, and have obtained the Maple Diploma in Professional Proofreading and Editing at distinction level in both disciplines.
I will consider all subjects, but my particular interests include outdoor activities (I have written a number of magazine articles and a guidebook on walking in the Lake District fells), travel, sport, personal finance and politics.
I can work on hard copy or on-screen using tracked changes, and one-off or regular assignments are welcome in either format.
