Distance learning means that you study on your own, at your own pace, in our own time at home or wherever suits you.

It's become a very popular way for people to increase their skills or enhance existing ones.

Generally, you are in charge of your learning programme guided by tutors/mentors. You'll undertake course material often in a modular basis, work on activities, and write assignments. Often you'll make use of multimedia resources, DVDs, CDs and CD-Roms, tapes, etc.

Distance learning is growing in popularity because, put simply, it fits in with our busy lives and can be factored in around existing work/domestic commitments, even employment! Learn while you earn, or perhaps learn more to earn more... whatever your motivation, there's such a wide range of courses on offer these days that you'll have no trouble finding one to suit.
