Description * Copy editing * Proofreading * Translation * Proofreading translations HELEN BIRKBECK LANGUAGE AND EDITORIAL SERVICES I provide a proofreading and copy-editing service for all types of document. Material can be checked on paper using BS 5261 symbols or on screen, or simply checked and marked according to each client’s requirements. All subjects are considered, but I specialize in languages, religion, academic and general business publishing. I have a degree in German and Norwegian and also offer translation from these languages and proofreading of translations. I am a member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders and the Federation of Small Businesses. My clients include mainstream publishers, academic organizations, charities, businesses, journals and individuals – and anyone who needs to produce clear and accurate documents that are well written and presented. My rates are negotiable, but always fair and competitive.
