I have 15 years experience in journalism working at international, national and regional levels. I continue to contribute significantly to national newspapers and have a large network of close contacts that includes writers and editors in the national press.
In 2003 I set up Passionate Media, an editorial agency that provides media relations, social media, copywriting and training to a wide range of businesses and organisations.
I run a number of highly successful blogs including www.havealovelytime.com which is a travel review site for families and www.freelancewritingtips.com which offers support and provides opportunities for writers.
The freelance writing tips group on Facebook now has in excess of 700 followers and I have built up over 3000 followers on Twitter that include national editors and journalists.
I also run workshops and telephone training on how to kick start your freelance career and how to make money from commercial writing.
